So weird thing just happened... I went to boot my computer up from Shutdown, lights in case came on and the Republic of Gamers logo displayed on screen (f2 to enter BIOS etc etc) but didn't proceed to display windows login screen. Instead screens just displayed black. Tried force shutdown twice with same result, then pulled the plug....I noticed my headphones were plugged in so I took them out too (audio jack at front).... Booted totally fine. I am using a  ASUS ROG Strix X399-E.

I know this could happen booting with a USB plugged in but headphones really?? It's especially weird because earlier in the day I accidentally restarted with a USB storage disc plugged into the front and it booted totally fine.

They're are just a pair of meh Xbox 1 Headphones (no mic)

TL;DR Headphones cause boot problems?
