Weird control type glitch

So this is happening across a bunch of different games, but basically, it's like the game is constantly set to keyboard and mouse, but it will temporarily switch to controller whenever there is input from the controller. It immediately switches back to keyboard and mouse and makes things difficult as it tends to make the mouse appear in the middle of the screen.

Not sure if I am understanding the question correctly. So are you trying to use the Keyboard and Mouse or the Controller? If so the control needs to be plugged in before the games are launched, and if any mouse or keyboard inputs are made, most games default back to that.
