Theoretical app transfer

Does anyone know if you can transfer the "iWork suite" (pages, keynote, and numbers) to other machines since they are .app files? Or do those apps need to be installed through the App Store in order to work?

 

I mean I have 2 Macs here so I could try it on my own but ehhhhhh

I go to the Boys and Girls Club and I recently reset and re-installed macOS on the early 2011 iMacs they had their but they do not have an office suite so I wanted to see if I could put them on the Macs since the kids there might need them for homework.

Can't you just download the iwork apps from the mac app store?

You have to sign in with an Apple ID and I aint logging into like 6 machines with my Apple ID (don't even think Apple will let you lol)

should be able to....you can also log out of your apple ID once installed if you need to

Yeah but then I have to remove the machine from my list of registered devices and I would just rather stick a USB drive in them and drag and drop the apps into the applications folder lol.
