Sound isues

Hi, i've recently got myself a new PC but what's kinda ruining my experince is that the sound doesn't sound clear when it comes from the front (all other ways work just fine)

I've been messing a bit with equlizers but nothing else.

Do you have 5.1 surround turned on by chance?  I wonder if you have a driver that's swapping to that rather than stereo.  

So Plug in headphones > Right Click speaker on task bar > Playback devices > find speaker in question > Right click > properties > Spacial > none

 

Worse case is you buy a USB Sound card to by pass it all but why spend the extra money.

Anything special about your rig?  When you plug it "everywhere else" is it directly to your motherboard? Do you have a sound card?  Any special drivers? I.e. Soundblaster, Recon Crystal Voice ...etc

It's a prebuilt system so i actually don't know about that,or i know i haven't downloaded any drivers anyway.
