Windows 10 store missing SP3

Hi All, I just got a surface pro 3 and did a fresh install of windows 10 pro, after allowing all the windows updates to install, I then upgraded to the latest insider build (16299) which I have on 2 other machines and have lost access to the windows store. I can open it via wsreset.exe however the icon doesn't appear on the taskbar and I am unable to search of the store or find it in the start menu apps list. The same thing happens on another user account. I'm using the same Microsoft account on all 3 devices and only the new surface pro 3 has this issue.

Yes, it was there the whole time until I restarted after the insider update. I've tried wsreset many times and any powershell command I could find. I just can't get the icon back

I'd roll back off the insider update and see if it returns, otherwise just reinstall windows.

So I restored back to previous version - not on the insider preview - and the store is back, going to try going back to the insider builds and see what happens.

Just got back on the insider - i went for the slow lane this time rather than the fast lane, and the store isn't there, gonna try going to fast lane and see if it fixes itself. The weird thing now is that when I rolled back, the store was pinned to the taskbar, now i'm on insider the store is pinned but it has no icon, it's just a blank space but it does open the store when i click on it

Do a check for updates a few times and restart your computer. Maybe it's pulling more information in that insider build.

switching to the fast lane didn't restore the store, it's still invisible on my task bar so I can make do until fall creators gets released or the next insider build, thanks for you help

It's one of the problems with Insider builds. It's a beta os
