Do Iphones have overprovisioning?

For work, I needed to get an iPhone for convenience and team consistency, I got one of the cheapest ones available, the SE with 16gbs of onboard storage. After installing all work apps, im left with 9gbs, when I get low on storage, will i experience overprovisioning slowdowns as the drive struggles without the proper room to function or is the 3gbs taken by the os enough?

Its apple, they wouldn't release such paltry amounts of storage in a phone if it was going to cause them issues like that
