The only thing it makes sense to be making the noise would be the motherboard. Which is why I'm thinking it could be some sort of beep code, but if it's a regular beeping that doesn't really make sense either.

 

You could try looking in the manual for beep codes or something like that to see if it's supposed to indicate something.
