Hi,

My girlfriend is currently in Canada (Toronto).

Her MacBook just died on her (It's unable to recognize drive) and since I'm not in Canada I kinda need some help.

The disk has a lot of important school stuff and so on stored on it.

Do anybody know a place in Canada (Toronto) where they restore data?

Please help.

Q: How many prolog programmers does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Yes.

Recovering data is extremely expensive. So use that as the very last option. Her best option would be to take to the Apple Store or local computer repair shop and let them check it out. Unrecognized drives not mean the drive is dead. Other things can cause to unrecognized it as well, like faulty cable.
