Help with reinstalling os.

So a while ago i updated from Windows 7 to 8, and i got a key that i used then.

Now i want to reinstall my os, can i use the same key again? or do i have to buy a new one?

if u mean re install windows 8 then yea u can use the same key as long as its not an OEM key

i think just install windows 8 again and use the same code you used originally for windows 7.

How do i know its not OEM? I bought if for really cheap, like 30 euros on W8 launch day as an upgrade from W7.

its fixed now, reinstalled through settings.

SHouldn't matter if its OEM or not unless mobo has changed. Normal reinstall doesn't require anything special from key.
