Basic video editing rig

United_Stealth

Hey guys I need your help,

My neighbours asked me for some advice on a video editing pc.

They want one for basic video editing, they just want one that functions in editing. It doesn't need to edit/render the videos in the fastest way possible, as long as it's smooth and does it's job.

Now I'm not at home at all in the video editing world. What kind of pc would they need? I've got 3 options so far, which one do you guys will suite them best?

Will they all work with the program they want to use? Magix Video Deluxe 2016

Two things that will impact them if it's just video editing, is cores and ram speed/size.

Video editing uses sequential processing so a mechanical hardrive will actually perform as well as a ssd (sometimes more so) because its not having to access information in random orders when the video is rendered.

So I would do the custom one, but get a larger mechanical drive, and more/faster ram.

Sorry what I meant is a SSD affects premier pro, but a harddrive is still fine, and on that 240 they are going to run out of space fast.
