My pc has died and im about to buy a new one in a few days ahead.

If you can checkout my spec and give your opinion before my purchase it will be great.

what are you doing with your computer to warrant a x299 system?

honestly a ryzen 1700 would be just as good for whatever you are doing as the 7820x or if you really need quad channel memory a 1900x would be better imo

If you want a 960 EVO, I would suggest that you grab the 512GB version rather than going with 1TB. You'll save about 250 dollars, which you can put towards a 2TB mechanical hard drive such as the WD Black. Your decision to go with X299 is unnecessary, and your memory selection is a bit odd. See my parts list below for some suggestions.

The 7820x is an absolute beast of a CPU. I've got mine to run at 5.00 GHz (with custom water loop).

There's most certainly cost effective choices to get desired performance levels but I personally believe the 7820x sits on a good spot between high multi core performance and high single core performance.

If you're strictly gaming, I'd go for intel's mainstream platforms, you could wait for coffee lake CPUs (Set to launch next month) or go for the  Z270 platform and get the 7700k processor.

If not, the 7820x is a great choice from a performance perceptive.

The rest of your system looks great.
