First of all WiFi does not operate at 50 Ghz. You get 2.4, 5, or 60 Ghz. But 60 Ghz is pretty much useless and only found on the newest 802.11AD routers and I have not see any wireless cards for the standard yet. Your looking at Dual band wireless N or wireless AC networking cards. Keep in mind 5 Ghz has less range and does not go thru walls as well as 2.4Ghz. So if your computer is not close enough your kinda screwed. 5Ghz will be faster.

USB networking stuff tends to suck and be unreliable from my experience. You really want to do PCIe if you can. As far as suggestions I really dont have any in particular. TP Link will be good if your on a budget. At the very least I would suggest matching the speed tier of your router. So if you have a Wireless N750 router, then get an N750 Wireless card.

Power line adapters rarely do the speeds that are stated on the box. They tend to be more stable then WiFi. People buy them due to the stability as WiFi interference can appear out of no where at any time. There also is another standard called MOCA that uses the Coax in the walls instead of the power wires. Id like to say MOCA can do 400-800Mbps depending on what MOCA 2.0 adapters you get. It can also coexist with cable providers as well. So one cable can do your internet, cable TV, and Networking. The adapters can be a little expensive however, oh and the best thing, there is only one company that makes MOCA 2.0 adapters from what I have seen.

I still live by my previous statement when it comes to USB networking. AC chips get hot. USB dongles overheat and stop working. But it's cheap enough that if that does happen, your not out loads of money.
