K70 Lux RGB

Hey guys, i am looking for K70 Lux RGB owners specifically with the cherry mx brown switches. I am skeptic about my space-bar sound, so i just want to know if it is normal or not. Here is a recorded space-bar only usage: https://vocaroo.com/i/s0N7jDTmvZ6E

 

I would really appreciate it if someone would send me a space-bar sound of his/her K70 Lux Rgb with the same type of switches. Thank you in advance.

I dont have the same keyboard but mine is also an MX Brown switch. Sounds similar.

I have that exact keyboard: sounds Identical to mine, slightly louder and different from the other keys. As far as I can tell, it seems to be from the stabilizers on either side of the space bar. Try comparing the shift button sound to the space bar.

Details: 12GB ram, GTX 1080, USB card passed through to windows 10 VM. VM's OS drive is the SATA SSD. Rest of resources are for Plex, Duplicati, Spaghettidetective, Nextcloud, and game servers.

The shift key is much less noisier. I guess the right term for the space-bar sound is "clangy". Can you record your space-bar sound please?

Indeed, the shift key is less noisy, but that probbably because it is smaller.

For some reason, the shift key sounds as loud as the space bar in the recording; in real life it is noticeably quieter.

Yep. Seems that the space-bar is normal to have this "clangy" sound. Thank you very much.
