Hi, I built this computer and I picked the wrong case, as you see in the pictures the GPU has no space for the fans to work properly, I open the side window panel and put a fan on it and it stays under 70 degrees on full load, but as soon as I close that thing it gets way to hot lol, I obviously need a new case that has enough space while maintaining the small factor build, I can return the case no problem I think, it's from amazon and they are good with returns, please help with choosing a new case.... I'd appreciate it.

Other than that, I have a 4k monitor and I've been playing GTA V on MAX settings/ 4k and it sometimes it gets laggy (playing offline) FPS around 30/40, when I lower resolution to 2k and HIGH not MAX settings it runs fine, 60 fps, is something wrong with this build? or is that normal? we're talking GPU at 70 degrees and CPU 40 degrees, everything runs fine....

Thanks!

70c sounds pretty normal to me, (my 1080 gets like that but the fans are quiet)

Have you considered adding a fan to the rear of your case? That'd probably help. Unless that case is physically stopping your GPU's fan from spinning.

I don't see any pictures in the OP. Nor do I see a link to pictures.

The gpu is 298 mm long. The case has 330 mm gpu clearance. Should be enough.

Presumably the X62 is mounted in the top extracting air from the case.

Most mini-ITX cases have issues with cooling. Instead of replacing the case, you might consider replacing the gpu with a hybrid model? You will have to check clearances, but the radiator should mount on the rear fan mount without interfering with the X62.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Hi brob, sorry for some reason the pictures didn't upload, I did again. The problem isn't length, but width,  I am migrating this system to a  Micro ATX case, so I am changing the case and most likely the mobo. The option of changing the GPU... I am not sure, I bought it from NEWGG and they don't accept returns on those, they would only refund 80% of the money, it's on their policy. Give me your thoughts!

I see the problem. Moving to an mATX case should resolve the issue. You could change the motherboard, but why bother if it is going to add to the cost.

Dont you think it would look weird? the small mobo inside a matx case?

Did you try to remove the psu shroud? It looks like most of the choking of your gpu might be resolved this way...

There are other mini itx cases that would fit your gpu if you can return your case. Take a look around. Some cases with psu mounted vertically or upside down can do the trick maybe?
