haha i dont have nf12's but yes the stock fans always sound like a bearing is about to blow(i may need new fans....)

The NF-F12's are definitely more quiet at load. If you do not like the looks of them, go with something like SP120 Quiet Edt. for quiet operation, or Performance Edt. if you want better Temperatures/OC.
