Forgot Windows RT 8.1 Password -_-

Hey everyone. 

I made a stupid mistake a few weeks ago. I upgraded my Surface RT to Windows 8.1 RT (Windows RT.1?) and I was forced to make a live account. I abandoned all hope of actually using this tablet for personal use, so it's the family tablet to go along with the family computer. You would think I would put down answers for security questions and personal info while making the live account. I didn't. I did this at around 5 AM after being up almost 48 hours straight and wasn't thinking. I lost the password, I put down a recovery email that probably doesn't exist, and I used my now nonexistent land-line phone number as the recovery phone number. 

 

So... is there any way to reset the tablet without logging in? I know how shady this sounds, but it is my last name on the tablet. If its that much of an issue I guess I can post it to verify but I'd rather not.

or try resetting your password and I think you can not use the recovery methods and use a method in which you type in your recent emails that you have sent/received:

Seems sketchy imo. If you are planning to use this I would backup all your important files on a ext hard drive or a USB by using Live CD version of Ubuntu to get your files.

Do you have a password reset disk? If you have, just insert it and follow the instruction, if you  have no disk, I found a video guide and you can follow: How to reset Windows 8 password

Password reset disk doesn't work for live accounts. Only local accounts.
