My build has a Ryzen 5 1500x (cuz i forgot i wanted 1600 but performance difference is probably negligible)

ASUS Prime B350-Plus

Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400(1x8)

650w gold psu

In a P400S case

Still need gpu, storage, and all the peripherals

My question is: 1050 Ti good? What monitor pairs well with it? Do i need gsync?

Also bought a G502 but ive never used KB/M so idk how dpi works or what setting it should be on or anything like that

But my main question is: with all those parts i DO have, is it a good idea to keep it powered on?

I plan to leave it on 95% of the time when its finished but right now will that cause any issues?

Any and all help is appreciated

The performance difference between the 1500X and the 1600 is fairly big. 4 Vs 6 cores.

Ryzen benefits from faster RAM, so 2800-3200 MHz kits would make sense.

Which 650W gold PSU?

The 1050 Ti is fine for decent 1080p 60 FPS gaming. Any 1080p monitor should be fine, but maybe get a 144 Hz one if you're playing competitive FPS. If you're not, get one with a 60 Hz IPS panel. G-sync makes playing at lower framerate feel smoother, but is not necessary.

DPI is the sensitivity of the mouse. Just use whatever feels comfortable.

Having the PC powered on all the time is fairly stupid, as it only takes like 30 seconds to power it on, if you have an SSD. It won't cause issues, though.

:)

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3

Is it a good idea to get a 1060? I heard miners aren't killing it anymore

And define competitive

Ah, so you've already gotten the listed parts? Anyway, they aren't too bad, and the PSU is a good one.

The 1060 would definitely be a significant step up from the 1050 Ti

Yeah everything i listed is in the case right now all put together. But until i have a keyboard, graphics card, storage, and a monitor, its basically a huge black and red paperweight
