Recently I've been having this really odd issue where randomly my mouse and keyboard will basically disconnect, and I will hear the Windows sounds start doing the link ding sounds it does whenever you unplug a device. Whenever it does it the RGB lights on my Deathadder and Mech keyboard turn off like they have been unplugged, then after a few seconds they re detect and start working again.

Is this an issue where I could ship my motherboard back? I have recently updated my Bios to help with better support for Memory, and devices and what not for Windows 10 since I am running on X99 (5820K) which is a few years old now.

I have called Asus, and my only issue is I need my PC and I have no where to put my components if I had to dismantle my computer. Anybody have a clue as to what could cause this? Also, it's not just my Mouse and Keyboard it does this too, it can be whatever is connected to my desktop but typically that is all that's plugged in. Yes I have tried different Ports on my Motherboard and typically I run across the same exact problem sooner or later.

I've had this issue for a while on my own Asus board (M4A78T-E) I know it's not the same platform but hear me out. I've narrowed it down simply to how fast data is being transferred to and from the USB ports. Particularly when I'm tethering my phone to the PC and upload speeds reach above 2.5mbs. I tested and confirmed this myself by trying to stream to Twitch at that data-rate. After about a minute or 2 all my usbs would die then take a minute to come back. It would even do it several times over a couple minutes til it settled down.

I sort of fixed it by updating the chipset drivers, but I got a PCI wifi card for internet now and never plug my phone in  to my PC anymore so idk. Just thought I'd throw out an observation of my case with the same issue

Do you by chance have an Android phone plugged in when this happens? Or any other USB devices?

No I do not. Just my Razer DeathAdder, My IBP Mech Keyboard, and Turtle Beach P11's. Originally I had my AG06 Yamaha USB interface plugged in, but it kept tripping out on me so I stopped plugging it in to my desktop.
