Problem with mouse and keyboard, please HELP

Hey guys, i have a serious problem with my computer. About half a year ago i bought a SFF Dell Optiplex 790 and upgraded it with 1050ti. Yesterday my mouse started flickering and after a while stopped working. After i restarted my computer, it worked fine again. Today the same thing happened except my keyboard died as well. I tried other usb ports, both up front and back. Tried working on Linux based OS for a while but after a while both mouse and keyboard stopped working again. I dont really wanna buy a new case, psu and mb just bcs of this.

Do you think you shorted your motherboard somehow while installing the 1050ti? Have you upgraded the stock dell PSU? It may not be supplying a steady amount of voltage.
