Hello community,

I am asking myself if modern devices like my ZTE axon 7 could charge even slower than 0,7 A from my old galaxy y adapter,  namely 0,5 A or if it will not start to charge, because I know that slower charging is better for the battery.

It will charge slower. I don't think it's necessarily better for the battery, thought.

If you're not using the phone for anything, and the screen is off, it should slow charge on 500mA. However I wouldn't worry about doing it for battery performance.
