Ram Disk?

Does Ram Disk make any difference really? Looked up a few things about it and there are some things that sound pretty interesting, such as switching the Windows temp folder over to the Ram Disk, and switching the internet cache over to the disk...I'm wanting to preserve the life of my SSD for as long as possible. I've already made it to where my recycle bin does not take anything at all when I delete, so when I delete, I make sure I do not want it. Do the speeds of Edge and Chrome get at least as much speed, if not a bit more? If it's the same speeds I'll take it.
