New Processor for Lan Rig

I need a new processor for my LAN rig cause my 8350 just died (R.I.P). I was wondering if it was worth it to get the 1600x or the 1600. The 1600 comes with a cooler but the 1600x has a higher base clock.

A R5 1600 can be overclocked to match or surpass the clockspeeds of the R5 1600X. It also comes with a somewhat decent stock cooler (like you said) and is significantly cheaper.

 

Get the R5 1600.
