S8+ Customization

Hey guys and gals! 

 

I'm getting a bit fed up with my S8+

 

Is there a way to make it smoother and less samsungified lol 

 

I've removed all bloatware and used package disabler but it still doesn't seem as fluet and as smooth as it should do imho....

 

Does anyone have any tips?

substratum + substratum samsung-no-root package (paid) + themes, allows custom-ROM-esque theming of various services and parts of the operating system. 

 

also AdHell is bloody cool, it's essentially system-wide adblock for the entire operating system.

Using another launcher makes my old Samsung Galaxy S4 feel pretty snappy. Have you tried that?

I tried Nova launcher as I had that on my note 4 but it still feels sluggish....

Can't find Adhell on the play store or is it an apk I need to get??

Like most system-wide adblockers Google removes it off the play store

go into developer settings and shorten the animations.

 

If you put it in the microwave it'll transform into a note 8 (only joking please don't kill your phone and probably burn your house down.)

Thankfully I have common sense  

 

i've shortened them right down to 0.5x
