Headset with decent mic <= $100

pajpaj

Looking for a headset with decent mic, will be using for streaming, the cheaper it is the better.

Note: If you can, please give me your top 5 in case some of them are not available. Thanks!

The Hyperx Cloud II gets my vote.

I'd buy a first gen cloud over the second personally... but either way.

The Corsair Void PRO (don't even think about the og void) is also possibly worth considering.

As are a wide range of 50-80 dollar Audiophile headphones + modmic etc.

One classic example is the Senn HD558 + Vmoda boompro. I've used this combo. It is definately better than any gaming headset Ive heard other than the Game One (a 250 dollar headset that is basically just a 598 with a mic attached).

Superlux 668 + ModMic is also an option at that price range (I am totally bias of course).

You also may be able to find the Sony MDR series (V6 or 7506) and an external mic and still hit under 100.

Yeah, the best is Audiophile + dedicated mic. Problem is the prices here are doubled + shipping. So for now I am going for Plantronics RIG 500HD 7.1. Then I will save some money and get the audiophile + dedicated mic combo.
