OSU Upgrade

Hi,

    My friend is upgrading his PSU from some crappy 330W Antec unit that looks very dodgy. He is considering the Corsair CX-550M as it is modular and has a five year warranty (note, this is the newish one with the grey labels). Is this a good choice or are the any better? See attached picture of the rig. We tried our best with cable management! (And YES, we are aware that the mobo power is missing the +4 and the PSU only has one 4pin CPU power instead of 2, that is why we are upgrading).

- i5 7500

- Gigabyte H110M mobo

- 8gb 2133mhz RAM

- Bitfenix Nova ATX case

- Saving up for a Gtx 1050/1050ti

Wowl there, Antec True330, that is old, like pre 2003. -5V!

 

Corsair CX550M is a great choice, a CX450, CX450M, CX550 and BeQuiet PurePower 10 series are also great choices.

Yeah, get a CX550M please.
