I just recently replaced my thermal compound on my 1800x (with Artic Silver 5) and was testing it out via aida 64 stress test.  I got some decent numbers (76c on a kraken x62) and then all of a sudden, my pc shuts down; then when it restarts it shows a CPU Over-temp error.  Am I missing something or is 76c too high for Ryzen?

Note: 1800x was OC'd to 4ghz

Have you updated your BIOS?

I'm not sure, but the first thing that came to mind is the temp offset.

Voltage under load?

voltage is around 1.35v under load.  Decided to bump it up to 1.4v and up the SOC to 1.1, seems to be working fine now.  Also upped the voltage on my DRAM to 1.5v and reached 3600mhz on the ram.  Will do a stress test to confirm stability.
