spend abit more for a TXM 650w. you can get a cheaper aorus 1080ti to save money. otherwise its fine.

I'll definitely change the PSU but I was actually really curious, what do the different 1080ti prices really do? Is it a big difference in performance what so ever? Will I experience problems in the future if I get a cheaper one, I'm super new to this so I never really understood and I'm glad you brought it up.

not alot of difference, maybe some coolers perform better than others or have more bells and whistles or have factory oc.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

So do you think it would be worth an extra 50$ or so to go with a better 1080ti if I plan on getting max performance?

no, just overclock to make up the difference.

Little over, added a nice 1.1tb ssd. :P

Great case and under the price for the case.

That's not a "little over". It's shit anyway.

OP You don't need to spend 2 grand on your first PC, that's just stupid.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor  ($197.28 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - X370 SLI PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($116.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($143.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW DT GAMING Video Card  ($539.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Fractal Design - Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: BitFenix - Whisper M 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($102.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Monitor: QNIX - QX2710 Matte 27.0" 2560x1440 60Hz Monitor  ($219.00 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Keyboard: Corsair - K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE Wired Gaming Keyboard  ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1690.21

Cheaper than what you were initially looking at, AND it actually includes a case and monitor, as well as a significantly better keyboard(the K55 is absolute trash). It also has a nice big SSD, you can add a 1TB or 2TB HDD if you need/want. I'd even recommend dropping the GTX 1080 to a GTX 1070, IF pricing wasn't still retarded. GTX 1080 just makes more sense now since 1070s are almost the exact same price. SLI support, just in case, but if you're adamant that you don't want SLI support, you can save $10-20 on motherboard and $35-40 on PSU by getting the 450W variant of the same PSU. Lastly, you can easily OC the monitor between 96-120Hz.

Intel Core i7-4790k @ 4.7GHz | Asus Maximus VII Hero | NZXT Kraken X61 | 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro(Red) @ 1866MHz | 2TB Seagate Barracuda | 250GB Samsung 850-EVO | 2- way SLI Asus Strix GTX 970's @ 1500MHz | EVGA 750W G2 | NZXT H440(black/red) | 3x120mm Sharkoon Shark Blade fans(red) | 3x140mm Be Quiet! lol thanks for the hell but not buying an AMD... I have the money so why not. I asked for advice on the build I made, not to make a completely new build. Appreciate it though
