Hey, im torn between the View 31 and 71 from Thermaltake.

As im not 100% sure if you can see the RGB fans if you use an AIO on the top of the View 71 with fans facing down.

You can definently see it on the View 31. Now will i see the rgb fans on top of the view 71? Not just the lights, but atleast one half of the fans, doesnt have to be the whole fan.

Im not sure if its even out yet, and people can give me an answer to this. So it'd suck to order it and find out you cant see it.

it was never meant to help...I just wanted to give my opinion. But if you want information here it is. The View 71 has tempered glass at the top and thus will allow you to see the RGB fans if they are mounted at the top, on the 31 the top is not tempered glass so the fans will be seen fully but just through a dust filter

That doesnt help me either, because you didnt understand what i meant. I dont mean to look on it from the top, i mean mounting the aio on the top and seeing the fans facing down from sitting when its on the desk.

oh I get it now, it depends, how tall are you and how high is your desk?

I can adjust that, but i mean relatively like a normal desk. I just mean if it stands on the ground, normally. Can you see the fans facing down from the top? Like the View 31. View would be pointing a camera directly middle.

I can place the Case on a tad higher bit on my Desk if it really an issue.

I linked a photo of the view 71, and i realize that you can see the rad its a pretty huge rad, so with a smaller rad you should see it like from that view right?

well it depends how you configure the fans, if it were me, I would get a triple rad aio and mount it to the right-hand side. But as you want to mount it to the top you need to take into consideration the spacing for the motherboard, that rad seems like a thick one but it's hard to tell since we cant see how the top fans are configured. if the fans are above the case and are mounted like this (rad case fan) from bottom to top then its safe to assume that what you want to do would not be possible, if however its like this (rad fan case) then it should be possible as the spacing would give just enough for the fans to be in a push config. I assume you would be going for a push config to allow for the RGB fans to be inside the case.

I already calculated that, that fits.

I want the fans to take hot air in and push it out the case. Im not sure if thats the push config. But it should be like shown in pic, just the fans below the rad. the x62 rad is going to be half of this, and so are the fans so it fits.

Thats a push config, and if you have calculated it, then you should be fine
