Looking to build a budget Gaming PC.

Wishing to build a decent gaming rig for around $200. My "Gaming System" now has a core 2 quad q600 7 GB of ram and a 1 GB VRAM GTX 550 TI.

Thx

I don't know much about that low a budget but I think you should get a used Pentium off ebay or craigslist or something like that and a 750ti 4 to 8 gigs of ram and then whatever else you want you will have to overclock obviously. if you look hard enough like at garage sales and stuff you should find these parts

The only suggestion I would have for a gaming PC at that budget is a pairing of a refurb prebuilt and a cheap GPU used.

The refurb prebuilt could be something like this

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA8WV5Y25196

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131724

That's $220 and it's actually a pretty powerful PC (for the money). Keep in mind you'll have to keep the side panel off to accommodate that GPU, if you want something that can actually put the GPU inside grab this

i switched the case for an extra $1 so you can have USB ports on the front

You do know that the GT 710 is quite a bit weaker than the iGPU on the Pentium, yes?

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

he could always just get an LP 1050/ti for the SFF rig, if it's cheaper. also i think he already has a PC so I'd recommend just doing some upgrades to it.

Oh looking at his current system, just OC the Q6600 and grab a 1050 Ti yeah.

These prebuilts are great value though. A whole i3 PC for $120
