Currently using Internet 150 / 15 through Shaw. I've got some wonky things going on with my router but been too lazy to fix it as 100 mbps is still plenty. :P

I have 200/20 from Spectrum. Funny enough, I actually have two WAN IP addresses, even though I don't pay for two.

You dont need to pay for additional IPs. On the blade side you configure a port to DHCP and any number of devices will grab an IP. If the port is configured for a static you can only use the statics paid for.

Blade what? I don't have those kinds of options.

Sorry, I work at an ISP so I am using that lingo. A blade or card is the equipment that feeds your connection, either to an ONT or a modem. That is what handles everything from DHCP leases, to VLANs to bandwidth. Thats what we provision or setup when we give you internet.

 

Summed up, every device you hook up from the modem will get a WAN IP.
