It's a 'fine' laptop, just need undervolting, also build quality not the best (but not the worst)

It’s a good laptop provided that you are willing to tweak it a little.

 

Mine doesn’t have the thermal issues that others are plagued with, but it’s always best to do a repaste and undervolt just for good practice.

 

Since my GPU very rarely goes above 70 degrees, turbo clocks are quite high and performance has been great on my unit. But as always, YMMV.

 

If you just want absolute power, there are indeed better options out there. But if you want a mix of portability and power, this is a solid choice, but it’s worth having a look at the Clevo linked above.

this revision is better. they upped the adapter. IF you get a decent machine, this will be fine. Emphasis on fine. Basically it comes down to how low of a price can you find on this laptop. cause the p650hp6 is better. I think the new Dell 7567 1060 revision will be better. But pricing is everything in this bracket.

It's actually called the 7577.

 

And yes, it's worth waiting for. Our favorite midrange gaming laptop for value-minded consumers got a well-deserved GTX 1060-bump, even though it's a Max-Q version.
