Is Cinebench Broken ?

Bit baffled here, i upgraded my mate's computer today to a 750Ti, ran cinebench on it and it scored 126FPS in the OpenGL bench which at the time i did think was pretty good for a 750Ti. Later on, out of curiosity, i ran it on my own system at home again for the first time in so long i had forgotten what my R9 390 could actually do, and it scored 114FPS.......

 

What's wrong here ? my usual source confirms the obvious too http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-750-Ti-vs-AMD-R9-390/2187vs3481 

 

there is one variable though, but it really shouldn't affect the benchmark, im running cinebench off a NAS over VPN, so the loading times are horrific of course, but that shouldnt matter right ? once it's all pulled over the internet and into RAM, then program will run the benchmark entirely locally as if cinebench was running from C, right ??

 

im confused, help lol
