Hey guys so everything has been fine until I updated to latest Nvidis drivers and windows update (not creator update)

and now randomly I get both monitors losing signal, whilst the pc stills runs (sounds and teamviewer work)

Not sure if it’s game related or just general

Anyone have any idea?

The monitors just go black with ‘no signal’

thanks

Does it only happen when you're playing games/doing something GPU intensive? Or does this happen even when the system is near idle?

It happens sometimes just after the PC boots, but i've noticed when it gets past it and I open a game such as CSGO or a benchmark tool like Furmark it takes 1-2 seconds before the signal drops.

SO I'm pretty sure it's related to intensive. I've done a fresh install with my old driver version and it seems to be working, I updated to latest nvidia drivers and it did it again. Fresh install lol.

Any idea why? Unstable drivers?

I had a similar problem to this years ago on Vista and Win 7 with a dual 8500 GT setup. Flash video would crash the driver, and iirc some games were affected too. It was most likely driver related as after a while it went away, but then came back again later.

Drom memory, the same problem didn't happen on Linux. I suggest you try either a live or a temporary Linux install to see if it bugs out doing similar things on that platform. If so, it could be hardware.
