What should i get?

Im building  a new computer and im going to mostly play high end games on it like Ark, Gta, Nfs and some more demanding titles. but i do not really know if the 100$ extra is going to make that much of a difference when im playing on an 1440p screen. So should i get the 1070 or the 1080 Turbo

If we are thinking of the same 1080 Turbo then you are planning on a flower style cooler. While they are not terrible it is highly recommend that you get something else unless your build needs it.

 

If budget is a concern the a 1070 will do you just fine really.

With a Ryzen 5 1600 I would go with a 1070 at 1440p.

I would pull back on the PSU a bit, unless you do plan on upgrading to a 1080ti down the line. I would also cut the Wi-Fi card but I don't know your situation well enough so I am going to assume you can't run a wire to the computer.

 

If you would like a 1080 instead I would even recommend a build like this:
