Pc forcing to format sd card

Hi,

 

After a nice holiday in Italy this summer I wanted to put all the photos on my PC but when trying to open the SD card in explorer it forces me to format the card meaning that I will lose all the photos. 

Is there a way to cancel this force format or is there a way around it?

gparted live, mount the SD card, take the files off using file explorer (DO  NOT USE GPARTED, DO NOT FORMAT)

gparted is on unix not windows , and i doubt that making a live iso with gparted is worth it

just use another computer , might be the format your camera formats the sd before storing its shot may be incompatible with windows os, or just dont format it and clone it with filezilla

it has all the filesystem support! that you'd probably encounter..

filezilla is a FTP client.

you can clone with filezilla , its just that you dont know how to use it , i have clonezilla with filezilla , copy clonezilla to an usb , run setup and clone device(s)

and still you seem to not understand , gparted is LINUX only , find me a gparted windows exe

All has been fixed lads. Used a different pc and it didn’t force it. Transferred it to an external hard drive and all was done. Thanks anyway for the help!
