Weird PC Problems.

I just wanted to share a weird problem with my friends PC. His PC has all kind of weird problems, and this is just one example. When Playing CSGO if he switches his aspect ration to 4 by 3 and has his internet wireless, his ping spikes to 1000. But if he switches back to 16 by 9, or plugs in his lan cable his internet is fine. His wireless is fine if he uses 16 by 9, but as soon as he switches to 4:3 it spikes. He can use 4:3 with wired though. I don't expect anyone to have an answer to this, but does anyone have other weird PC problems?
