My planned upgrade peripherals

Now that I have a new gaming computer, I thought it was appropriate to upgrade my peripherals. The keyboard and mouse I plan to get is the coolermaster devastator. I know you might be thinking that the mouse isn't the best, but I don't plan on playing fps games or games that really involve the mouse. My next upgrade is headset, since my crap creative ones are demolished. I plan on getting the plantronics gamecom 380. I have seen mic tests, it sounds really well. Perfect for Skype. How does that sound? Should I change anything?
