M.2 Heatsinks?

Thinking about getting a M.2 heatsink from EK to add a little flair, cover up the giant red text in my black and blue themed build, and maybe even help the drive run a little cooler. Anyone know if EK's heatsinks actually improve cooling, or at least not make heat issues worse like I've heard of some M.2 heatsinks doing?

I've read that they do improve it, but not by much. If the red text is an issue, perhaps some gaffa tape is in order?
