The cable with the red yellow and blue wire is the CPU fan, should it be plugged into the 4 pin connector that is directly to it's right? It's the amd wraith spire RGB, the empty header was for the RGB ring, I removed it because it was capable of producing a white light. Anyways, it's lableled as cpu_fan so that makes me question if the CPU fan should be plugged in there.

the CPU FAN should be plugged into the header labeled CPU_FAN.

yes, just plug it into CPU_FAN_1

if you have two CPU fans, you can plug them into both.
