Wireless PC to TV HDMI Solution

We are looking to switch out the projectors in our office with LCD TVs and some of the high ups want us to find a wireless solution instead of relying on HDMI cables.

 

I've tried to convince them of the impracticality... no dice.

 

I've done a bit of preliminary research and there doesn't seem to be too much out there that support both Mac and PC for full desktop aside from either an IOGEAR GW3DHDKIT or GUWAVKIT4B.

 

Any ideas, or should I push the cable issue again?

wired is a better option far as I remember as there isn't many wireless solutions, and even some of the "wireless" ones need cables, so yea I suggest pushing wired, by pointing out that it will be cheaper, more reliable, quicker to set up and not a pain in the arse when it doesn't work, as the wireless will be a pain in the arse to set up in all likelihood. Pretty much think of it this way, if you can you hard wire every PC you have to the router as it is easier to manage and is much less likely to drop and not work, as you have a "bad wifi signal" which will happen for you, probably when you need it not to the most

That's what we got right now, but unfortunately we also have a number of Mac users who need to be able to cast their screens as well.

Probably this unless anyone has some sort of miracle device. HDMI is cheap and platform agnostic.

there are definitely wireless HDMI solutions out there, but they are usually kinda pricey, you can get something like this and just run it over an access point, but yeah, pricey

still needs cables between the RDP PC and the TVs also I would suggest teamviewer over RDP for this task, as RDP only shows a screen similar to the log in screen on the PC your controlling, which is an issue when you are using it in a meeting
