If you do it correctly I assume you can make it happen, garden hoses or industrial ones are not a problem... but a plastic bottle sounds a bit flimsy...

The first guys back in the good old watercooling pioneer days did´t use anything but true aquarium pumps, self made radiators and heatsinks.

A cooling loop from a computer is a bit more critical but in theory it is nothing else than any other water cooling for i.e. in a car.

 

The only thing I would recommend to buy is the right heatsink for a CPU or/and GPU.

 

Other than that enjoy being creative and good luck with crafting :) .
