I'm thinking about building a new PC.

Right now I have:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RF4F2R

And I was thinking of:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4CFWhq

Both the HDD and SSD will be the same, so as the GTX 970.

I want to keep it around that budget (maybe 50 more).

About the CPU Cooler, I'm not interested in a high-end or watercooling beacuse I will not make OC.

Also, moving from W7 Ultimate 64bits to W10 Pro 64 bits is a good idea?

I'm not interested in OC (But I need the 8 USB ports the MOBO has) and gaming in 4k, only one 22" 1080p monitor.

Casual Gamer (Bf4/Bf1/Most Shooters and maybe some future games), fan of RGB lights.

Mechanical Keyboard + Mouse + Camera.

Is it a good idea to upgrade or is it better to wait until the new Intel generation?

I'm not interested in any AMD product.

CPUIntel Core I7 8700                                                                      Intel Core I5 3570k

Video Card: EVGA SSC - GTX 970 4GB
CPU Cooler: Noctua NHD15S                                                            Cryorig C7 && Intel Stock Cooler

Motherboard:  Asus Prime Z370-A                                                    MSI - Z77A-G45 GAMING
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8 2666Mhz                              Crucial Technology 1x8gb @1666mhz

Monitor: LG 34" 34UC79G 144hz Curved Ultrawide Full-HD FreeSync
Storage: San Disk 240GB SSD 2.5"
Storage: Western Digital 1TB HDD  3.5" 7200rpm

Storage: Western Digital 2TB HDD  3.5" 5400rpm
Case: Corsair 400c White                                                                   Sentey  DS-4237
Power Supply: Corsair Rm650x Fully Modular 80+ Gold                  Thermaltake 600w Non Modular 80+
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64 bits                                      Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits

If it's striketrough, it means it has been changed :P

If you can find a second hand i7 3770K on Ebay then that would be a fantastic upgrade and it means you can keep your current motherboard and RAM.

If you like Windows 7, then stick with Windows 7 for three more years. Also you should wait until the Core i5-8600K is released, it will have two more cores.

Yes, but I'm interested in changing almost everything because I want a new-looking PC.

I'm tired of the ugly case and I want to invest in something that will last a bit longer.

(Maybe add a few RGB later :D)

I'm thinking of selling this PC, that's why I'm chaning almost everything.

Great option to take into account.

Anyway I really wanted to build a new PC.

Maybe wait until the 10nm tech of Intel.

The Maximus is a overkill motherboard, especially if it means using an I5 and not overclocking.
I personally love Windows 10 over 7 and I used 7 for awhile, although the hate train for 10 is strong.
If you're only gaming a Pro version of Windows is a waste of money.
A locked I7 7700 would be much better since you're not overclocking, as well as color matching RAM. If you do want RGB ram I would suggest Trident Z since it has individually controllable LEDs which look very nice.
Also, the H7 is a nice color matching cooler that will be basically silent since its cooling a locked I7 and since I have saved so much on the budget I figured a splurge there would be good.

The I7 7700 is more expensive than the I5 7600k, I know I'm not going to OC, but isn't it better to have a K rather than not having?

(I put an I5 7500 on the list to reduce the price)

No. A i7 7700 will be better than a I5 7600k if left at stock, and a K sku (In this case would actually be a 7600 vs 7600k not the 7500 vs 7600k) only adds about 100-200mhz (Or 0 in the case of the 7600k vs 7700) which will make no difference in gaming.
The point of having the 7700 in there was because by downgrading to a more reasonable motherboard you would still save ~50 even with the more powerful CPU
