Classified or Reference

I was planning on purchasing the 780 tonight as there were not very many good Black Friday Deals on the 780. But I cannot choose between the sheer sexiness of the reference card or the quiet performance of the classy? Anybody have opinions? Oh and my case is a Switch 810 so airflow is not an issue.

How loud is the reference card? I know the acx is relatively quiet because I am upgrading from a 760.

You can buy ACX design but not the Classified unless you buy the waterblock for the Classified.

 

The normal GTX780 and GTX780 Ti come with the standard PCB.

 

A Classified has a custom one. So make sure to decide first with the cooling and then go for it . I mean EVGA will release a waterblock and has released a waterblock for the Classified (780 Ti will follow).

 

So as always choice is yours .

I would wait until Monday at least. Always one last chance to see if they put out any sales. Probably wouldn't try waiting any longer than that though, then you'll just get caught in the waiting game.

I waited and I just ordered the reference superclocked version because it was on sale for 509$
