That's not how VRAM works. It doesn't add onto each other. It would still be 8GB GDDR5 vs 11GB GDDR5X

All of my games that I bought, support sli and my to 1080s are better than a 1080ti. Not concerned about power and they are efficient so that's  mute point.

Even better for surround gaming as a single card is still too weak.
