7700k Price drop ?

Hey ! I'm looking to buy a 7700K but it's maybe a bad timing for it consider all those Ryzen CPU and the soon launch of the Coffe Lake.

Do you think the price gonna drop dramatically ? or it's a good time to buy it? 

It's now 405$ Cad$ on newegg. or 319 us$

 

It's so a shame 8700k coffee lake not support 270 chipset

What are you planning to do with the PC? Gaming only?

Not just gaming. multi screen task. Gaming, streaming, encoding etc. 

I don't want to change my Maximums IX Z270 motherboard and want to get the most power out of it

The chance of a generation-old CPU dropping is unlikely. The release of Kaby didn't affect Skylake upon release and Ryzen didn't change them either.

7700K is the best option for the board, but wait until tomorrow. If CFL turns out to be better than R7 when streaming, CFL i5 and i7 will be the way to go for gaming AND streaming.
