So i built my new pc today, and when i downloaded windows on it, it registered as a boot device, but when windows was installed it didn't show under the "This PC" tab in the file explorer-thingy, so i can only download stuff on my ssd now. Anyone know what's causing this, and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

You will need to allocate the missing drive as a simple volume in the Windows Disk Management. You can access the application by right-clicking on the start menu icon and click Disk Management from the context menu that opens. From there, right click on the unallocated disk and create a new simple volume and clicking through the window that appears.

Windows has a formatting utility that can be started within control panel. See if that recognises it. This is a sign of unformatted drive.

Also, SSD as boot drive?

Where in the control panel is this?

And isn't ssd as boot drive the best? Like isn't it way faster?
