Stardew Valley is great, and on Steam for $15 or $7 during sales (I believe you can get some shady free copies online). CS:GO, if you don't already play it. War Thunder, FTL: Faster Than Light, Cook, Serve, Delicious (tough one), Garry's Mod (find a nice gamemode).

Subnautica if you like building things underwater. Very visually appealing.

Pubg for PvP.

Lotro for an MMORPG because it's free, most people are familiar with the background story, it has a great community, with tons of stuff to do.

Witcher 3 - Haven't played it, but a lot of my friends love it.
