Need help updating BIOS

How do you update the BIOS for AMD Sempron 145? It is inside my emachines pc.

Sempron 145 is the name of the CPU you must know the name of the motherboard first.

go to the Motherboard's download page there you'll find bios files. download the latest one.

It will be a zip file. unzip it to a thumb drive(formatted as fat32)

go to the update utility in your bios, select the bios update file and you'll be done.

 

NOTE: If it is a prebuilt PC then go to manufacturer's website and download the file.
