If I had two rgb strips could I connect them to the CPU rgb and strip rgb headers on my mobo? Or would I need a splitter to attach them both to the strip rgb header? Mobo is asrock ab350 pro4

Im trying to see if plugging an rgb strip into the cpu rgb header would work. Or if I would need a splitter

Well, if you want me to tell you whether it will blow up your RGB header or not, I need to know what strip it is.

It should work as long as the pinout is the same. as mentioned above, for us to know for sure we will need to know what strip you have. It's like saying "I have a CPU, will it work with my motherboard?" but I dont know what CPU it is.

Hmm ok. I thought strips were all compatible if it's the 4 pin rgb connector. I really don't know though so...

theyre often labeled on the strip, and if its correct you are set!

So it's the male connectors on the strip and Mobo so I touched them together and they worked. Could I just get any old wires and wrap them on each connector? Or would I need a certain wire

what does the other end of the strip look like? maybe use something like this:

Yup that's what I need. But I was hoping you could just use wires.

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to, give it a try if you want. a cannibalized USB cable would probably work well for this (color coded with 4 wires).
