I have utorrent installed because some programs require torrents to download so i have it there but rarely use it. The issue is that every time i boot up my computer it automatically opens. I've gone into prefrences and disabled that and have gone into task manager and disabled it. I've even reinstalled it and it still opens. Any help would be appreciated.

That is a issue with BitTorrent as well. The main reason would be, if the torrent client is minimized, then any incomplete torrent will download/Upload in the background. The torrent does not download or upload if the client is closed. However, both BitTorrent and uTorrent can be stopped from auto starting. The developers have given us the provision to do so.

As Tibbles already said, just get rid of utorrent. its close to malware and i already had a case at a friend of mine, that utorrent packaged/put all other programms and even windows system files/programs/data to/into torrents an he needed to reinstall windows and lost all his personal data

am hungry

uTorrent used to be good, but it changed some years ago. I don't miss it though. qBittorrent (looks similar to uTorrent) and Transmission (much lighter on RAM than other bittorrent clients) are both great free/libre/open source alternatives.

Go to your search bar in start menu, type msconfig, go to startup and make sure it is un-selected in there, I think that may be a different menu than task manager so it could be that

Uh, preferences... Literally on first page (or General) says Start when Windows starts. Tick off. Works. If not, uninstall or install newer version.
